ABOUT EMILY

Making β€œart” has been my lifelong obsession. In a time that is ever more saturated with digital media, I relish in collecting hand skills and traditional techniques.

In college, I majored in fine art painting, attending Maryland Institute College of Art and finishing my degree at Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. Upon graduating, I moved to NYC where I completed a rigorous three year apprenticeship through the United Scenic Artists Union, cutting my teeth on the sets of Saturday Night Live. I spent 15 years painting scenery for numerous productions including my longest engagements on Boardwalk Empire and the CBS series Bull.

The years spent working in the film industry allowed me to hone my craft and develop the skill of translating ideas into things as I worked closely with designers to help realize their visions. This instilled a love of collaboration and working as a team to breathe life into a space.

I have a deep love of paper goods and a passion for paper hanging. I enjoy the craft, skill and flow that are essential to the origami of wrapping a gift from the inside.

I now live in Miami, FL and work mainly in elevating spaces through commissioned murals, wallpaper hanging, and original art.
